Alliance Venture is a venture capital firm based in Oslo and Palo Alto investing in exceptional early-stage tech companies, providing active support to entrepreneurs with global growth ambitions. Total capital under management is 850 MNOK (approx. 100 MUSD).
Alliance Venture was formed in 2001 by a team of experienced executives with broad business, financial and entrepreneurial backgrounds. The team is supported by a network of strategic alliances and an Executive Investor Network, consisting of more than 25 experienced individuals with a passion for start-ups.
Alliance Venture differentiates itself by its strong operational and international experience and network. This is put to use in deal flow generation, benchmarking, business development and transactions.
Alliance Venture is now investing from its third fund, Alliance Venture Spring, which was established in June 2014 with 510 MNOK in capital. The investors include, among others, Telenor, Opera Software, Kistefos, Umoe, DNB, MP Pensjon, Oslotech and Innovation Norway.
Alliance Venture’s first fund, Alliance Venture IP, is closed and exited. The second fund, Alliance Venture Polaris, was raised late 2006 with 340 MNOK in committed capital and is now in the exit stage.
